Students of Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) Senior Division Course 39 undertook an Environmental Study Tour of some selected African countries from 21 – 28 April 2018. The study tour is aimed at developing in the students a broader perspective of national and international affairs. The study tour which is also termed ‘Experiential Learning’ has been integrated with the Master of Science in Defence and International Politics (MDIP) Programme and considered a core module.
This year, the study tour afforded the students of Course 39 the opportunity to undertake an in-depth study of 5 African countries and enabled them to gain a better understanding of the political, cultural, socio-economic and defence policies of the countries.
