Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College has observed Faculty Weeks for students of Senior Division Course 40. The Faculty Weeks are periods given to the 3 Services of the Army, Navy and Air force to showcase the details of their tasks/duties and the platforms that they use.

The programs for the Weeks also included periods where the various Commanders gave their Visions for their Services.

The objective of the Faculty is to educate students from the other Services on the duties and tasks, the Standard Operating Procedures and characteristics of the platforms and weapons used by the Sister Services so that it will be easier for planning and implementation of Orders during Joint Operations.

The army showcased their weapons and stimulated a battle with an imaginary enemy during the land combat power demonstration (LCPD) at Bundase Training Camp. Students and staff were later taken on the various platforms operated by the navy and air force.

The LCPD was attended by dignitaries including the Minister for Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, Commandants, Directors General, Personnel from the Small Arms & Light Weapons Commission, Officers and Men of the Ghana Armed Forces, Journalists and some members of the public. Also some civil police personnel who were on Operation VANGARD pre-deployment Training witnessed LCPD.
