GAFCSC CONDUCTS INDUCTION RELIGIOUS SERVICE FOR STUDENTS OF COURSE 45

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) has conducted an Induction Religious Service for students of Senior Command and Staff Course 45 on Sunday, 1 October, 2023, at the Hamidu Hall in Teshie. The purpose of the induction service was to cultivate a profound sense of unity and camaraderie among the students, uniting them in a spiritual and communal ambiance. The induction religious service also underscores the paramount significance of ethical conduct, moral values, and unwavering commitment to principles. These attributes are utmost importance for military personnel who might encounter intricate and morally challenging situations in line with their studies.



The Guest of Honour, Alhaji Iddi Sumaila who is the Chief Executive Officer of Skones Group of Companies, mentioned that the homily by the Imam and the Chaplain on the theme "Integrity in the Acquisition of Knowledge had stimulated his thoughts and that of the students.
He entreated the students to reflect on the theme and well-delivered sermon and allow the admonitions to inspire them.

 

Emphasizing the aim of the course, the Guest of Honour stressed the need for honesty, integrity, and exceptional performance in their profession. He encouraged the students to focus on developing these qualities in order to excel in their careers.

He extended his gratitude to the families of the students for their support and welcomed the Allied Officers with warm hospitality, encouraging them to embrace the fraternal relations and enjoy the beauty of Ghana.
