GAFCSC HOLDS MEDIA ENGAGEMENT FOR SSC 47

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) held a media engagement with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) for Senior Staff Course (SSC) 47 on Monday, 3 November 2025 at the Hamidu Hall in Teshie.

The engagement, held under the theme “Dealing with the Media: Interview Techniques,” aimed at equipping participants with practical skills for handling media interactions effectively. This forms part of the College’s broader efforts to enhance the communication competencies of its student officers, especially in the context of strategic leadership and public engagement.

The facilitator from GBC, Mrs. Joyce Anim-Ayeko, delivered insightful presentations on managing media interviews, building confidence in public communication, and understanding media relations within both military and civilian environments.

She led discussions and practical demonstrations using real-life scenarios and best practices for engaging with the press. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct feedback on their interview approaches.
