GAFCSC MATRICULATES SENIOR COMMAND COURSE 46
The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) has held a matriculation ceremony for Senior Command and Staff Course 46 on Wednesday, 1 October 2024, at Teshie.
In his welcome address to students and invited guests, The Commandant of the College, Major General Matthew Essien revealed that the ceremony represents a significant milestone in their academic and professional development. He emphasized that the challenging academic path they are embarking on is essential for shaping the future of national and global security.
Maj Gen Essien stated that gaining mastery of the subjects would equip students with the analytical skills and strategic insights necessary to handle complex challenges. He encouraged them to seize the opportunity with enthusiasm, engage actively in their studies, participate in discussions, and push themselves to think beyond conventional limits.
The Guest of Honour, who doubles as a representative of the Rector of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Dr Patrick Tandoh-Offin, emphasized the importance of matriculation ceremonies as the formal entry point for students into higher education.
Dr Patrick Tandoh underscored the potential benefits of the partnership between GIMPA and GAFCSC, aiming to fulfill their commitments and establish a center of excellence. He urged them to seek knowledge, becoming well-informed and well-rounded individuals who can positively impact their communities and society.
