TANZANIA COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE STUDENTS VISITS GAFCSC

The Commandant of the Command and Staff College of Tanzania (CSCT) has led a 36-member delegation to the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) for an official visit on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

The delegation comprises eight Directing Staff and 27 course participants  who were on a one-week study tour to Ghana to gain practical exposure to different military environments, historical sites, and deepen collaboration amongst the two countries.  Their visit was anchored on the theme, ‘Regional bloc strategies in addressing security challenges in Africa.’

Upon arrival at GAFCSC, they were warmly received by the Deputy Commandant, Brigadier General WA Seidu. The Chief Coordinator, Colonel MO Mantey, briefed the delegation on the aims and objectives of the college, as well as its organizational structure. They were also briefed on GAFCSC’s five-year strategic plans aimed at elevating the college to meet international standards.

Additionally, the delegation was conducted around the College and was given the opportunity to interact with students of Senior Command and Staff College 45.
