THE COMMANDANT OF GHANA NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON COMMANDANT

A two-member delegation from the Ghana National Fire Service College, led by Deputy Chief Officer and Commandant of the Fire Service College, James Ankrah, along with Assistant Chief Fire Officer Dr. Gerald Acheampong, Director of Studies, has paid a courtesy call on the Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Teshie

 

The purpose of the visit was to acquire knowledge and insights to help design a structure and academic framework for the establishment of the Fire Service College, with the intention of replicating a similar model for the Fire Service.

 

 

The delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Commandant of GAFCSC, Brigadier General Albert Dawohoso, on behalf of the College’s Commandant, Major General Matthew Essien. They were given an overview of the college’s organizational structure, operations, and administration.

 

 

 The team expressed their enthusiasm for the visit and indicated that they plan to make regular visits to gain further insight into the college’s work.
