ZIMBABWEAN DA TO GHANA CALLS ON COMDT GAFCSC

In a diplomatic move aimed at fostering collaboration between Zimbabwe and Ghana, the Zimbabwean Non-Residential Defense Attache (DA) to Ghana, Colonel Philip Kupe, has paid a courtesy call on the Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Maj Gen Matthew Essien, at his office in Teshie on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

Expressing  the purpose of his visit, Col. Kupe disclosed that his visit revolved around a proposal to exchange students and staff members, to enhance the capacity and capabilities of GAFCSC and Zimbabwean Command and Staff College.

He articulated the importance of the collaboration, emphasizing the mutual benefits it could bring to both Zimbabwe and Ghana in areas such as knowledge sharing, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of ties between the two African nations.

The Commandant extended a warm welcome to Colonel Kupe, acknowledging the significance of the proposed partnership. He stressed the need for concerted efforts from both countries to realize the objectives of the programme.
