Graduate Admissions

The college offers postgraduate academic programmes built around defence, peace, and security-related study. The route highlighted on the current page content is the Master of Science in Defence and International Politics (MDIP).

Entry Requirements

  • A good bachelor’s degree at second class lower or better, or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognised body
  • A minimum of two years working experience in a peace and security-related organisation
  • Under exceptional circumstances, experienced applicants with alternative academic standing may be considered
  • A written statement of career objectives related to the programme

Structure and Duration

The programme is run in two streams: a regular stream and a weekend stream. It spans one full academic year under the semester system, with two semesters per year.

The regular stream is intended for Senior Division students of the Ghana Armed Forces, friendly armed forces, and some sister security agencies. The weekend stream is open to the public and is designed for qualified applicants whose weekday work schedules limit attendance.
