The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, following its successful affiliation to the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has introduced new Ph.D and MSc postgraduate programmes in Defence, International Politics and Security Studies. The programmes include:
- Ph.D in Defence and International Politics (PDIP) - Full-Time. The programme is designed to prepare Ph.D. students for rigorous, policy-relevant research on the management of the defence sector; military science; major threats to national and international security, politics and the relevant strategies, institutional arrangements, knowledge, skill, and the capabilities that will be needed to confront those threats.
The mission of the programmes’ is to produce a new generation of analysts, policymakers, and scholars, fully knowledgeable about the range of international and national security and defence problems and foreign policy issues of the 21st Century.
